Back To School

Back-To-School. Even though it's going to be a busy September, covering all your bases now will make for an easier year. Having a support system in place as early as possible can help ease this transitional period and assure that your child's needs are being met.

Beyond School. It is especially important for children with ADHD to be involved with extracurricular and social activities after school and on weekends. Nonacademic activities can help a child discover his or her strengths and learn to cope with their weaknesses.

Communication is always key. The following articles help outline the decisive questions you should be asking your teacher(s), healthcare professional(s), and educational staff as you head back into the school year. A little extra effort now may help secure a bright future for your child tomorrow.

Additional support is available. Resources available through ADHD.com are designed to help you prepare for the upcoming school year. Use the links below to read articles to get you and your child ready.
